Overview and purpose

The leadership-development programme is designed to provide essential leadership skills like emotional intelligence, change management, performance management and people- management skills required by the leaders to ensure that their team, department or division perform on a level of excellence.

The programme consists of four 4 two-day modules that can be scheduled according to the customer's requirements. These modules are:

Module 1: Developing Emotional Intelligence through Integrity (EQ)
Module 2: Change Leadership (NQF5)
Module 3: Performance Management (NQF5)
Module 4: Managing Teams towards Effectiveness (NQF5)
Module 5: Managing Workplace Relations (NQF5)

Note: Any of the above modules can be replaced by a more suitable topic from the Growth-Link workshops.

 

Certification options

In order for learners to be awarded credits towards a National Qualification, the unit standard-aligned modules should be attended and a Portfolio of Evidence should be completed by each learner to be assessed by a registered Assessor. Competent learners will receive a Certificate of Competence from the Services SETA.

Should the client require that the learning material be customised to such an extent that the material is not aligned with the unit standard(s) or the learners are not interested in obtaining credits, learners will receive a Growth-Link Certificate of Attendance.
